I have been working on this book for over 11 years. Gathering information on not only my direct Blunk family line, but also those indirectly related. Never imagining the impact this website, created back in 1998, would have on my research and the research of others whom have shared common interests in tracing the Blunk family line. Each time someone offered their information I would add it to mine to see how their family lines enter-twined. Through all of you whom have also wanted to see how our families are linked and supplied your personal family tree I have been able to put it all together in one unique book.
My target date for the publication of this long awaited book was to be in May 2007 (now extended til further notice). There is still time to get your family line to date in the book. You will want to pass this book to your family to pass on to theirs. Those who contribute their family tree to present time will be forever remembered in the "Blunk Genealogy in America" for your family and future Genealogist to read. Although, I never knew any of my ancestors before starting this journey. I have come to know the names of most everyone researched as if they were alive today.

You can get your family and your family line in the book by sending me your family group sheets of each family group in your family tree. Please include stories and photos. Or email your GEDcom file.

You may send your old photos by email or by mail to: Dorothy Perales, Genealogy, PO Box 731, Flatonia, TX 78941 (must be scanned at 300 dpi or 600 dpi) if you would like them included in the book. Don't worry if they are damage. I will restore each photo received before adding them to the book. If mailing your photos, please make a photo copy. Do not send originals. (Photos copies will not be returned)
"Pearls of Yesteryear Revisited" includes Descendents on the following family lines, some beginning as early as the 1500's to present times. These are earliest 1st generations found in my direct family tree lines.
Some of these names and their descendants below may not be displayed in the online version,
but will be available in the hardcopy book. The book will be made available soon. It will include brief bios, photos, resources, etc.
